Pricing & support

Run it in production, without the setup.

The gateway is open source and free to self-host — production Compose, alert rules and a runbook included. The paid option is done-for-you: I deploy it on your infrastructure, tune it to your traffic, and stay on email when something breaks.

Through four minutes of scripted provider outages it answered 92.2% of interactive requests, against 74.4% calling one provider directly, and finished 100% of deferrable work — see the benchmark.

Self-host

For engineers who want to run it themselves.

  • Use it commercially — MIT, no strings
  • You run the deployment and tuning

Questions

Isn't the code free? What am I paying for?

Yes — the gateway is MIT-licensed and free to self-host forever, and so are the production Compose, the alert rules and the runbook (they're in the repo). You're paying for time and a person: I deploy it on your infrastructure, wire your providers and secrets safely, tune the breaker budgets and rate limits to your traffic, route the alerts to your Slack, and stay on email for 30 days. You skip the ops work and have someone to ask.

What actually happens after I buy?

We book a call, I deploy the gateway on your infrastructure with you, configure your providers and secrets, tune it to your traffic, and route the alerts where your team will see them. Then you have 30 days of priority email support. Everything I use is in the open-source repo — you keep all of it.

Can I use the gateway in a commercial product?

Yes. The MIT licence already permits commercial use with no fee. The setup service is optional — it just saves you the ops work.

Do you offer a hosted version?

Not yet. The gateway is built to run on your own infrastructure next to your providers, which is usually what teams want for latency and key handling. A hosted option may come later.
